Building your list is not just something you do without effort. There are rules, albeit informally or unwritten ones, that will make your list building efforts really successful. When you follow these rules, you can be assured that you are well on your way to becoming a master list builder. Rule Number One: Always Build 100% Opt-in Lists. Make sure that your subscribers opt-in to your auto-responder so that you will not have a problem. If they do that, your auto-responder will collect the date, time stamp, and that IP addresses and all of the information that you can use to help protect yourself if somebody cries spam. It does happen.

There’s a really low-cost and fairly simple way to increase your page hits and your sales – write and distribute articles. It needn’t be time-consuming or difficult, either. Even better, it’s a fantastic method of spreading the word about you – building an online reputation as an expert in your field. I began distributing my own articles online a few years ago, and qualified prospects are still coming to me through my articles today. Here’s how it works:

With all of the content available online, it’s at first hard to believe that people are willing to pay for information. Well it’s true. People are and do pay for quality online content. As a matter of fact, ‘pay-for-content’ is a major internet money making model. Business content, personals, dating, and entertainment are the hottest niches, but people are looking for even more targeted information via subscription and are ready to click ‘buy now.’ Selling online content by way of a password protected website has become big business. Not only are membership sites relatively easy to set up, but the start-up and operating cost is minimal. Work from home entrepreneurs and big businesses alike are tapping into this new-found revenue source.

A crucial aspect of e-mail marketing is knowing how to create follow up messages in your autoresponder. Focus on is building your relationship with your list and you’ll find that your list building experience becomes very rewarding. Don’t initially think of selling first. Think “Pre-sell.” Before anything is sold, you have to establish yourself as a reliable source. 1. Your first message in the sequence should not advertise anything. We’re getting in the mindset of building a relationship right? Don’t sell anything with your first message.

Do you think having an Internet business sounds like a good idea? It did for me. Here is what I liked about the Internet business: • I was tired of working for someone else…I wanted my own business. • I wanted to work from home; I was tired of working at a schedule someone else set! • The Internet business offered a way for me to realize my creative skills to the fullest. • An Internet business has no limits…The potential is only limited by me. I have no one standing in my way. If I don’t make a great income, it is my fault.

So you want to be very clear when you are driving traffic to a page what is that one thing you want them to do. With this we proceed and clearly define the three different types of searchers that we have. In a nutshell, we have information seekers and really everybody who does a search is an information seeker. So we are looking at a big piece of the pie that then shrinks down and becomes more focused. We have shoppers and we ultimately have buyers. Buyers and shoppers are more like more refined versions of information seekers, and the more of them that you have in your business, the better will it be for you as an internet marketer.

Often you will hear “It’s In the List”. The opt-in list that is. So, what the heck is an opt-in list? An opt-in list is a list of people who voluntarily give their names and email addresses in order to receive email from a business. Typically, these people have agreed to receive newsletters or some type of advertisement. If a business sends out emails without permission, it’s considered spamming. Spamming is illegal, but that is a completely different article.

These are those words that significantly describe the content of a text, article, or database. A single or a group of words is often depicted as keywords. These are reserved words bearing specific meaning in reference to a particular concept. When we search for ‘bad credit mortgage loans’ or ‘forex system trading’ then these are considered to be a single key phrase for indexing a site that contains similar or almost identical information listed by the popular search engines.

I am often asked whether changing the words in the body of an Adwords advert can make a difference to the response and click through rate. I usually give my standard answer. Yes, but why don’t you try it for yourself. I am always amazed by the number of people who set up an Adwords campaign and then just leave it to stand or fall by itself. They don’t seem to realise, or care that it is perfectly possible to dramatically improve the response rate with some careful tuning. I think it is sheer laziness that they expect their first effort to be the best that they can do.

Aside from timing your responses and incorporating your joint ventures after a 30-day period as previously discussed in part one, you can also harness other means to make conversion a natural part of your internet marketing business. One of the tools you can use is autoresponse plus which requires more creativity. This way, you get your prospects to opt-in again and then add them to one list. When you do have masterlisttools, it will automatically arrange your lists for you. |
